Pearl Jam with Neil Young To Celebrate 20th Anniversary


Pearl Jam with Neil Young will be celebrating their 20th anniversary in a benefit concert by performing. At the annual Bridge school Benefit the band will play with Young on October 23 and 24. will go towards keeps from the event to the Mountain View, California school for students with severe disabilities.

Guitarist Stone Gossard said to Billboard: "It's gross: not too blown up. It's not about us, it's about only for all kids that are on stage with you and about Neil Young and his commitment, his determine."

Since their first appearance to Pearl Jam has played at the welfare eight times for the charity in 1992. The band has toured through the U.S. and Europe this year, albumBackspacer and will comeback to the studio later this year to begin work on their next album.

  1. You wish you could be there. A good way of "celebrating" is putting out an outtakes album of all the songs not available on Lost Dogs or bootlegged widely on the Internet. I'm talking about the Riot Act outtakes from 2001-2002, the Avocado outtakes with a studio versions of the songs "Of the Earth", "Deepest Thing", and "Walkin' Man" (and the fabled Fallen (known as the improvised song Falling Down from 1995 and the music later used on a Rockfords song with Mike Mccready) from the 1998(?) Yield sessions.
