To celebrate the band's 20th anniversary Pearl Jams decided to host a music festival next summer.
Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis in an interview with Sirius XM Radio said the festival will happen "somewhere in the middle of the U.S." -- not in the band's home base of Seattle. He didn't offer up further details. The news was first reported on the blog Guerrilla Candy.
A new album titled "Live on Ten Legs" is also due on the longtime singer Pearl Jam which he had announced earlier this year to release.The album include 18 tracks recorded on tour by the band from 2003 to 2010. In March, frontman Eddie Vedder will embark on a solo tour of Australia.
