Pearl Jam's Mike McCready with Crohn disease

Mike McCready is a guitarist of Pearl Jam, who spoke with Crohn disease, an incurable disease affecting the gastrointestinal tract of the public is to raise awareness.

McCready, which 1.4 million Americans suffer from this disease is one, recently donated his time to promote a public service program Walk Take Steps to make the announcement.

He said in the announcement, “I have been living with Crohn’s Disease for over 24 years. Luckily, my disease is now under control. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for many of the 1 million-plus Americans suffering from IBD. I know firsthand the tremendous impact CCFA’s programs can have on improving Crohn’s and colitis patients’ lives. I encourage anyone inflicted or affected by these diseases to sign up for the Take Steps Walk program.”

Pearl Jam's debut album "Ten" 20th anniversary in this year, the treatment was recently deluxe reissue.
